1 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
1 12 oz. can of evaporated milk
1 8oz. bar of cream cheese
1 c. sugar
Mix softened cream cheese with enough of the evaporated milk to make a smooth mixture. Add the remaining milks and the vanilla. Last add the eggs mix until smooth. Set aside.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place the sugar in a heavy frying pan with 1/4 cup water and cook over a low heat with out stirring. Watch the sugar carefully because once it begins to caramelize it can turn black very quickly. Once the sugar is dark brown remove it immediately from the heat and pour into the bottom of your Flan dish. Allow to set for a few minutes before pouring the flan mixture over it. Place your Flan dish into a larger cake pan and fill it with hot water to within a 1/2 in of the top of your Flan pan. Carefully place in preheated oven and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool and enjoy with a dollop of fresh whipped cream on top.
